Art is currently working on an ESL minor for Education. He is a fourth year unclassified student
with a degree in Human Kinetics. He plays football for the UBC Thunderbirds and has a commercial pilot licence.
Art lived in Hamburg, Germany for six months playing American football.
James is of Canadian, English and Welsh descent. He knows a bit about
Latin and French. His parents are moving to London in the summer.
He plans to visit Italy and Japan one day.
So, why German? "I dunno. The webpage making stuff was cool though."
"Of all the things I enjoyed about this project (the Doritos, taking pictures of our feet,
choosing special wallpaper, states of delerium & wearing that hat) my personal favorite was
formatting and reformatting the content over and over and over again."
While backpacking through Europe in the spring of 1996, Mike had his wallet stolen. He had his newly issued documents
mailed to some little-known relatives in a small town in northern Germany called Wickrath, just on the outskirts of Munchengladbach.
Tired, broke and unbathed in four days, Mike was amazed at the
generous reception he received not just from his relatives, but from the entire town.
He has been a fan of German hospitality (and baths!) ever since.
Sabina Brenneustuhl is a real genuine German person.
